The focus of the MLT program is to promote literacy and mathematics skills through technology integration. Every elementary student participates in a wide variety of technology integration projects using Microsoft Office applications, Inspiration, Type to Learn, the Internet, and other instructional software. Students learn basic computer skills and terminology, while reinforcing important concepts in mathematics, language arts, science and social studies.

Roger Sherman Elementary School now has two computer labs. One is used by students in MLT classes and the other is available for general use by classroom teachers. Our students use a sophisticated network which allows them to log in, save, and retrieve documents from any computer within the school.
